VNR500 Ranking – Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam 2021

2021 is a special year, the beginning of a 5-year development period, a year when the country faces unprecedented difficulties. But difficulties are also a test of the strength and bravery of the nation, a test to show the leadership ability and wisdom of the government apparatus and mass organizations, and an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to shines with its ability to manage creativity and adaptability.

2021 is also a special year marking the 15th milestone of building and developing VNR500 brand – Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam. As a prestigious ranking built based on independent research and evaluation results according to international standards of Vietnam Report and published annually by VietNamNet Newspaper, over the past decade, the VNR500 brand has not only represented the important locomotives of Vietnam’s economy but also serve as a launching pad to support businesses to build reputation in domestic and foreign markets.

Year 2021 is an IPC Group’s journey to conquer the winds with many difficulties. During the year, IPC E&C (representing IPC Group) urgently implemented wind power plant projects in the condition that construction was delayed due to the impact of social distancing and isolation, while still having to ensure ensure safety measures against epidemics and race on FIT price ‘s schedule. Even so, IPC E&C JSC (a subsidiary of IPC Group) has successfully taken the hurdles as one of the largest EPC contractors for large-scale wind power projects, drawing applause from investors, consultants, and partners.

Specifically, the IPC E&C contractor has five projects that have been recognised for commercial operation before October 31, 2021, in time to enjoy the preferential FIT. These are all large-scale wind power projects running along the Central Highlands to the Mekong Delta: Cho Long Wind Power Plant (155MW) and Cuu An Power Plant (46MW) in Gia Lai, and Hoa Dong 2 Wind Power Plant (72MW) in Soc Trang. In Ninh Thuan, there are Adani Phuoc Minh wind power plants (27MW) and Phuoc Huu-Duyen Hai 1 (30MW).

With those achievements, IPC Group continues to receive the award of Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500), ranked 160th out of 500 largest private enterprises in Vietnam in 2021.
