HBRE and IPC E&C Sign Partnership Agreement for 120 MW HBRE Ha Tinh Wind Farm Project

April 23, 2025 marked an important milestone as HBRE Ha Tinh Wind Power Joint Stock Company and IPC Construction Corporation (IPC E&C) held the signing ceremony for the EPC contract of the 120MW HBRE Ha Tinh Wind Farm Project.

This is a Group A national priority project, classified as a Category I energy facility, featuring 19 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.25-6.5 MW each. Located in southern Ky Anh district, the project spans from Deo Ngang to Ky Anh Town, Ha Tinh province, with its power transmission system connected via a 110kV line to the Ky Anh – Vung Ang power grid.

With a total investment of 4,286 billion VND from the investor’s capital and BIDV Bank (Head Office Branch 1), the project has completed all legal procedures and is preparing to submit for technical design appraisal and construction permits. IPC E&C will undertake the entire process from surveying, design, material supply, and construction to installation and commissioning, targeting commercial operation by Q2 2026.

The HBRE Ha Tinh Wind Farm Project increases IPC E&C’s total EPC-contracted wind power capacity in Vietnam to over 1,000 MW, while reinforcing its pioneering position in renewable energy, having successfully implemented 300 MW in Laos and 500 MW in the Philippines.

The project not only contributes to diversifying the nation’s clean energy sources but also demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable development. This further proves IPC E&C’s outstanding capabilities as a leading EPC contractor in renewable energy.
