Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Project has been officially COD accepted 38/40 wind turbines

Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Project has a total capacity of 130 MW, currently led by IPC Group as the main EPC Contractor with the representative of IPC E&C. The project has a total investment of more than VND 5,600 billion, located in Lac Hoa commune, Vinh Hai commune, Hoa Dong commune – Vinh Chau town – Soc Trang province on an area of 38.8 hectares.

In August 2023, the project completed the testing and acceptance steps and was officially recognized by the Electricity Trading Company (EPTC) – Vietnam Electricity for commercial operation (COD) 38/40 wind turbines with total capacity of 123.6 MW at 14:30 on August 15, 2023. This is an important factor to recognize the efforts of the team of engineers and employees who have continuously made efforts to implement the project in recent times, especially during the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Lac Hoa 2 Wind Power Plant Project is considered a key project of IPC E&C because of its special scale and significance, contributing to Vietnam’s clean energy source.
